Good sleep is one of the pillars of good health, as important as nutrition and fitness. In this course we will help you identify your specific sleep problem and provide you with a number of strategies to improve your sleep.
I am dedicated to empowering women and girls across all aspects of their lives. I have a special interest in all anxiety disorders, eating disorders, mood instability, autism and academic and professional success for women. I work to support women and girls of all ages.
I have a well-developed understanding of eating disorders, including helping those with anorexia, bulimia and binge eating, as well as, pre-bariatric counselling, body image difficulties and anxiety. I am also very interested in anxiety disorders, low mood, trauma, grief and loss and adjustment to life transition as well as early intervention and psychosis.
I have a longstanding interest in the study and practice of meditation including yoga, Buddhism and secular meditation as propounded by Dr John Kabat Zinn; and am a qualified Life Coach and Level 1 iRest® Yoga Nidra teacher. Yoga has been an integral part of my life on and off for over 30 years and I have enjoyed a regular meditation practice for more than 16 years.
I am passionate about supporting people in developing a healthy relationship with food. My principle aim is to help people understand and respond to their natural cues of hunger and fullness, understand their appetite and learn to eat intuitively.
Aphrodite Vlahos is a registered Psychologist with a special interest in working with women and girls. Aphrodite has been trained in a variety of therapeutic approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Self Compassion and more.

I am a psychologist and psychotherapist with a dedication to supporting women to become aware of their capacities for change, choice, and for living a fulfilling life.
I have over 10 years of experience and training in psychology and counselling. My approach to therapy is primarily interpersonal and I am particularly interested in how early life and relational experiences guide our functioning and sense of self in adulthood. My therapeutic work is strongly influenced by attachment theory, feminist theory, gestalt therapy, and a broad range of client-centered approaches including trauma-informed, emotion-focused, narrative and existential.

Caryn Griffin is an Art Therapist with Melbourne Centre for Women's Mental Health and also works with Challenge Cancer Support Network and LaTrobe University. Caryn has completed extensive training in Fine Arts and Art Therapy including Bachelor of Fine Arts, Masters Degree in Art Therapy and a Master of Applied Science degree. Passionate about empowering women through the use of Art Therapy, Caryn joins our team of professionals by supporting clients of the Centre in various ways using Creative Arts Therapy. Caryn recently facilitated an Art Therapy Workshop for us celebrating International Women's Day 2020!
